I had to put my dog Choko down unexpectedly last night just a week shy of his 13th birthday. He was my best friend and partner for 10 years, since the day I adopted him in early May of 2015. I'm devastated and lost. I expected the sadness, but this emptiness I was not ready for.

Whenever my anxiety really flares up, which it does from time to time, as is the reality of living with a chronic condition, I always worry going back to the dark times. I've been open about it so some here in Worcester may know my story, but it's a difficult one. 06-09 was hell
