In management, a bad hire doesn't just give you zero productivity.. they give you *negative* productivity by dragging the rest of the team down to fix their mess. Agentic AI is no different. If you deploy "underperforming" agents, you aren't just losing time; you're creating a high-stakes cleanup job for your best people. I say, keep it cautious- most soild MVP, and iterate carefully.

Saw some people panicking or asking about quantum computing's impact on crypto. At a high level, all crypto has to do is to upgrade to Quantum-Resistant (Post-Quantum) Algorithms. So, no need to panic. 😂 In practice, there are some execution considerations. It's hard to organize upgrades in a decentralized world. There will likely be many debates on which algorithm(s) to use, resulting in some forks. And some dead project may not upgrade at all. Might be a good to cleanse out those projects anyway. New code may introduce other bugs or security issues in the short term. People who self custody will have to migrate their coins to new wallets. This brings to the question of Satoshi's bitcoins. If those coins move, then it means he/she is still around, which is interesting to know. If they don't move (in a certain period of time), it might be better to lock (or effectively burn) those addresses so that they don't go to the first hacker who cracks it. There is also the difficulty of identifying all his addresses, and not confuse with some old hodlers. Anyway, it's a different topic for later. Fundamentally: It's always easier to encrypt than decrypt. More computing power is always good. Crypto will stay, post quantum.

If quantum “kills” Bitcoin, it also kills: • The global banking system • SWIFT transfers • Stock exchanges • Military communications • Nuclear command systems • Every HTTPS website on earth If Bitcoin is dead from quantum, your portfolio is the least of your problems.

“100% OF MY CODE IS WRITTEN BY CLADE CODE” so I guess the lesson is, if you’re building 100% of an app with AI you should at least build solid harnesses around it to avoid production disasters. I don’t want to be the guy who kicks someone down when a mistake happens, but this is becoming a PATTERN. we saw the same thing happen to Amazon when Kiro deleted a production environment and caused a 13-hour outage. assuming the Claude Code team similar to Boris has relied 100% on Claude to build itself, there seems to be a lesson here to learn, earned through blood and tears: YOU SHOULD MAKE AS MUCH EFFORT TO BUILD AGAINST AI IF YOU BUILD WITH AI.

GOGGLE CRACKED BITCOIN! Nope. Google Quantum AI just published a new paper showing ECC-256 (Bitcoin’s curve) could theoretically be cracked with <500k physical qubits. Not a big deal for Bitcoin. - Still pure theory. No one has hundreds of thousands of error-corrected qubits. - Most BTC sits in addresses where the public key is never exposed until you spend (don’t reuse addresses). - Bitcoin can soft-fork to quantum-resistant signatures years before any real threat arrives. GitHub moved agentic workflows from demo territory into repo ops. The interesting bit isn’t “agents write code.” It’s agents triaging issues, fixing CI, updating docs, and opening PRs inside GitHub Actions with guardrails. That’s a clear shift.

@TheManxomeFoe90 If the main players didnt do anything to get ahead, yes the clock is ticking. They can however update protocol to stay ahead of the threat, and it's apparently not easy but it's possible (source: asked around myself).

🚨$800,000,000,000 WORTH OF BTC AND ETH ASSETS ARE AT RISK Today, Google Research published a paper on quantum computers, and it's really bad. First of all, Google now thinks it would only take 500,000 qubits to crack crypto. Earlier everyone thought it would be 1M, which means 20x less. But this is just the tip of the iceberg. Before today, everyone thought that quantum attacks would take months. This means transactions are safe, and 1/3 of BTC are at risk. But this has now changed. Google claims that a quantum computer could crack private keys in just 9 MINUTES. This is a minute less than Bitcoin's average block time. And this isn't just limited to BTC. The research says that quantum computers could break into the top 1000 ETH wallets within 9 days. And now here's the most scary part? Google thinks crypto projects don't have decades to prepare for this. By 2030, Quantum computers could be powerful enough to crack Bitcoin and alts. This means we have just 4 years before Quantum computers become a reality and not just FUD.

🚨 Do you understand what just happened to Anthropic.. someone on their team ran a production build of Claude Code.. the compiler generated a .map file.. which is literally a blueprint that reverses the entire codebase back to its original source.. and then they published it straight to npm for the whole world to download.. it's like locking every door in your house.. installing cameras.. hiring armed guards.. then accidentally uploading your floor plans to Google Maps.. this is the same company that told Congress AI is an existential threat.. the same company that spent $8 billion building "the most safety-focused lab on earth".. the same company the Pentagon blacklisted as a "supply chain risk" because they were supposedly TOO principled.. and they got exposed by a config file that any mid-level engineer would've caught in a code review..

Google is basically saying: “We’ve cut the quantum resources needed to break Bitcoin’s encryption by 20x. We can now break it. We can prove it. We’re just not going to tell you how. We’ve slowed down research to give crypto a chance. You have until 2029 to figure out a solution. Good luck.”

After 15 min of asking Claude Code Opus 4.6 to continue where it left off. which had hit the limit, 90% of the limit was already used. A few minutes later, it was at 100%. Result: zero tasks completed! This is as bad as it gets. Clearly, the token-eater bug is still not fixed!

I love Apple but unless you need mOS it’s just too expensive, almost any other laptop can compete minus some insanely unique and high demand situations, even then it’s pretty much neck and neck. I love build quality and all that but it really doesn’t matter, unless you have money to burn.
