@MchaleTina36531 @LoveReigate @reigatebanstead There's a special plate for putting out cigarettes that's clearly indicated on the bin but my experience has shown that people don't look at what's on the bin so will just use the top. That's where the solar panels are the power it.

@LoveReigate @reigatebanstead I have noticed people putting their lit cigarettes out on the top of these bins. Don't think they are designed for that. I can only assume someone has broken this one already. 🫤

@FelixFrazer Have you ever watched the Batman Brave and the Bold cartoon series? Thats amazing. Teaming Batman up with other DC heroes and having all sorts or weird adventures.

@Paul_Monk I’m with you on that one. Thoroughly enjoyed The Batman when I watched it the other day, but my word it was BLEAK. Sat there thinking “So where’s the Batman film I can watch with my kids nowadays…?”

@FelixFrazer I've mostly moved to Threads now. Seems friendly like Twitter in the old days. Although I did upset a load of The Batman fans by questioning the current grounding approach to the property so nice to know those people are still there.

@Paul_Monk There’s a part of me thinks that. But there’s a part of me thinks this sort of shitbrickerry needs calling out rather than ignored.
The problem being, of course, that the more I call it out the more Twitter’s algorithms think “I see you like shitbricks. Here’s a dozen more…”

@reigate_redhill You just have to block anyone that affects you negatively. It's the only way. I felt terribly guilty the first time I blocked someone but you soon realise it's just a necessary thing on here.

I recently had to take a break following one of these incidents as it severely affected my mental health. I will now just be blocking people who I find difficult to engage with because life is too short.

I’m not very good at talking about this stuff so please bear with me. I’ve been running this local account in various guises for >10 yrs. My aim is promote the local and I’ve always tried to be fair and kind. I’ve encountered a few people I found difficult and taken a few breaks.

Stop with this constant need to make Batman more grounded all the time. The whole idea is fantastical so stop trying to make it realistic. If it was really grounded Batman would get his arse kicked all the time and would probably be dead after his first outing.
