@FabianNicieza @creeesart I really enjoyed G-SFF 1 - just curious though, was it your idea to name the new character Natlus? A lovely Easter Egg for old Bill Everett fans!

@Paulbot5000 Morning Paul, any luck with those Amada Japanese cards? I have quite a few things for trade depending on which drivers /sets you’re after. Can also do good old fashioned cash as well 😄

#F1cards 1991 Amada Formula 1 Fighting Spirit card from Japan featuring versatile Italian Gabriele Tarquini, who’s helmet design was inspired by the mask of #Spider-Man, but the painter didn’t bend the lines, web style! Uploaded to @tradingcarddb

@Topps_UK Are you teasing me? I was excited when one of your envelopes dropped onto my front door mat this morning, expecting a Topps Now Formula 1 Parallel, however it contained a bubblewrap packet, a Topps Now envelope, a plastic case and a piece of grey sponge, but no card!😟

Do you recognise these fellows? Lauda and Schumacher probably, Senna maybe, Hamilton - no chance! These unlicensed cards are part of a game set named G.O.A.T. Greatest Of All Time issued in 2020, and still available, by @bubblegumstuff featuring 4 greats from 13 sports.

#F1cards I’ve collected trading cards on-and-off for most of my life, and was excited when Topps introduced Formula 1 cards with their @PierreGASLY 2020 Monza Topps Now card. I’ve bought every F1 Now card since and finally been rewarded with a Parallel! Thank You @Topps_UK 👍

#OnThisDay in ’79, at Jarama, Patrick Depailler (car #25) won the #SpanishGP for Ligier, dicing with team-mate Jacques Laffite until Laffite missed a gear & buzzed his Cossie (you could do that with old-style Hewland H-gate ’boxes). Beautiful car, the Ligier JS11, wasn’t it?

#F1cards Today’s upload to @tradingcarddb is the Belgian 1952 Aiglon chocolate postcard-sized card of veteran Italian Luigi Villoresi. “Gigi” was born in 1939 and lost his prime years to World War II, however he did secure a famous victory in the 1951 Mille Miglia for Ferrari

#F1cards Pepys Games (pronounced peeps) were a British company producing various simple card games, one of which was named Speed and produced in 15 editions between 1937 and 1988. Here’s an interesting card from the 1954 5th edition showing Stirling Moss in his 500cc F3 Cooper:

#F1cards Today’s upload to @tradingcarddb is the 1994 Futera card of Ukyo Katayama. Ukyo won the 1991 Japanese F3000 Championship and was able to use this as a springboard to jump into Formula 1, but spent 6 unsuccessful seasons finishing no higher than 5th.

#F1cards Another Niki Lauda card uploaded to @tradingcarddb today - his 1998 Futera Platinum no.1. Interestingly, for a set always dated as 1998, the reverse of Niki’s has a copyright date of 1999 🤔
