On Friday some of our women met with @HaltonBC to talk about the new Family Hubs. We discussed the experiences they’ve had with different services during pregnancy, birth & removals as well as possible improvements. We are so proud of the women for making their voices heard.

Today we are at the launch of @HaltonBC Family Hubs. We are so excited to see the impact this will have on families in the local area. Thank you to Halton’s Children Services for inviting us.

We are having a brief resurrection of our #MeetTheTeam posts as we welcome our new Practitioner, Beth. Beth joins us from Families First in Trafford. Beth's background as a social worker has already brought a wealth of knowledge to the team. Welcome Beth!

We have been reminiscing about our January graduation today. It was wonderful to see all the woman together from Community 1 celebrating their achievements. Thank you to all the professionals who were able to attend. You helped make the day very special for the women. #Graduation

Happy International Women’s Day! Today we celebrate all our Pause women, past & present. We continue to be so proud of the hard work they have put in daily to change their circumstances & admire their strength in asking for help along their journey. #InternationalWomensDay

From all of the Pause Halton and Knowsley team we would like to wish all our followers a Merry Christmas and a peaceful start to your 2023. Our office is now closed for Christmas but we will be back on the 3rd January 2023.

Today our PL, Lindsey, has been reflecting on everything the team & our women have achieved this year. We couldn't do the work we do without the support of our amazing Partner Agencies, @HaltonBC , @KnowsleyCouncil & @PauseOrg. We look forward to seeing what is in store for 2023.

As part of our Christmas packs this year we included a Penny Pinching Guide, inspired by @pauserotherham. With the cost of living increasing, many women have expressed concerns about their finances. It includes: useful contacts, meal guides, budget shopping lists & heating tips.

We are back with another roundup of what we are proud of this week. It has been a very varied week with some ups and downs but we are very proud of all the women for making steps to help themselves.

There are many different ways in which you can support a survivor but the first thing to do is believe her and make sure she knows she’s not alone. bit.ly/3boHtrl

Many of our women find Christmas difficult as they feel lonely. This year as part of our Christmas Countdown, we have been getting the women to do some self care activities with our elves. Today they are thinking about @dr_treisman exercise on Happiness, Joy & Excitement.

As we get closer to the end of the year our Practice has been reflecting on the wider impact @PauseOrg has. We are so proud to be one of all the Pause Practices up and down the country contributing to this difference.
