if you passed security+ in 2023 your cert expires this year.. seeing a flood of panic posts on r/CompTIA about renewals. you have options: 50 CEUs pass a higher cert like cysa+ or retake. pro tip studying for cysa+ renews your sec+ AND levels you up two birds one study session

adobe just got breached through a third party BPO vendor not their own code.. 13 million records leaked. this is why security+ hammers third party risk management so hard your org is only as secure as your weakest vendor

@CogniCarbon mcafee wont save you from ai researchers if they decide to go after your stuff.. best move is patching and limiting what you expose online

Does anyone have any tips for how I can secure myself against superhuman level security researchers becoming available in the next 12 months? Will McAfee antivirus help?

@Om7248 building a cert prep app for security+.. small but growing and people actually come back which matters more than signups imo

@Avestay_ nobody talks about the 90 days after launch.. most folks scramble to tweak features nonstop but 0 users = 0 feedback loops.. ive seen way more progress messaging 50 people than adding 5 features

“We launched a token, and it didn’t do well” That the reality for about 80% of devs. The problem is not what they think. If your project isn’t growing, it’s probably not your product It’s something founders ignore until it’s too late. Will walk you through it step by step🧵

@AlxTurovski nobody talks about how after launch day you spend 3-5 hours fixing stuff you didnt even know could break.. analytics always breaks first, QA finds some edge case, devops ghosts you for an hour.. its always chaos, but its the real stuff

Didn't feel like posting at all today. We launched our product (my day job) at a big corp today. And it was close to chaos. QAs, analytics, DevOps, something was off everywhere. It wasn't catastrophic, but we definitely didn't crush it. Then I opened X, saw the usual "consistency is key" and "code is not the hard part" posts, and weirdly, it made me smile. So here I am, posting a survival story in case it does find its reader.

45,000 people saw my pages on google last month and only 95 clicked.. thats a 0.2% click rate lol impressions feel good until you realize theyre basically vanity metrics.. now rewriting every title and building practice test landing pages because turns out informational content just gets answered in the search results

r/ITCareerQuestions is full of "is help desk even worth it in 2026" posts.. help desk without certs is a dead end but help desk WITH a+ and security+ is a launchpad. the cert isnt the destination its proof youre serious

a help desk tech on reddit almost reset a VPs password for a social engineer this week.. the attacker had their name employee ID and home address all scraped from linkedin. this is security+ domain 1 in real life not a textbook scenario and most people wouldnt have caught it
