I am grateful for my husband, though I recognize that there are other spouses who have not been as fortunate with their loved ones returning home safely. I sincerely appreciate everything, even on days when his PTSD challenges my patience. God is good!

In the beginning of a meeting I stated I’m drinking ginger beer to help with nausea. Two hours later HR emailed to inform me that it has been brought to their attention that I was bragging about drinking on the job. They would like to meet with me on Monday. Me being me … got 6 coworker statements and professional support on my drink of choice. Yeah, I’ll see you Monday and would like an apology for false accusations against my character. Next meeting I’m going to say I’m eating seaWEED 🤣 Petty AF 🤪🤣

In 1978, 15-year-old Mary Vincent was hitchhiking when a 51-year-old man pulled up. Mary was relieved, but the man had different intentions. Lawrence Singleton took her to a secluded mountain, raped her, then hacked off both her forearms with an axe. He then threw her off a 30-foot cliff and left her for dead. But Mary refused to die. In act of incredible resilience, she packed mud into her stumps to stop bleeding out, crawled back up the cliff and walked 5 km completely naked until she found help. Mary survived and later testified in court wearing prosthetic arms. Singleton was arrested but controversially sentenced to just 8 years. That lenient sentence backfired, when in 1997 he murdered another woman.

This is me in 1958, age 5 helping my stepmom in the kitchen. She’s at the sink washing dishes and I’m right there “helping” by putting them away in the cabinet. No TV in the background, no distractions just the two of us working together after supper. Those were the days of real kitchens, real chores, and little kids learning. Who else has memories like this? The smell of dish soap, the clink of plates, and feeling so grown-up “helping” in the kitchen?

I was nice with my family until I realized disturbing family member secrets. They brushed it off and started telling me I got problems. Exhibit A: grandpa groped his daughters and kisses them in the mouth<—- incest is exactly where I’m going with this. Exhibit B: grandpa attempted to inappropriately touch me when I was 8<—— my mom fought him only for us both to catch an arse beating from my loser dad. Exhibit C: my disgusting cousin half naked attempted to give my little brother a lap dance . Said my brother hit her<——He didn’t, but he flung that crazy b!tch across the room 😂 My brothers and I distance ourselves and our kids from that family, but we are the problem 😂🤣😂
