To claim that this is a death that is peaceful, well, it can be nothing else because now a person is unable to move in any way

@PaxInterSpinas @DltaHspcSociety I have known a few people who have chosen this route. Their passing was peaceful. What I witnessed with my parents in hospice has been horrible. When Mom passed, we had to pack up her room by noon. So in tears, we had to pack. When it is planned, those things can be planned to.

Canadians cannot receive ALL medical services in every Hospital, but the MAiD Activists scream "forced transfer" if they can't k*ll everywhere. What about pregnant women routinely transferred? Fact: Maternity Wards are closed on a regular basis. Meanwhile, the Death Squad marches on in their quest to make Euthanasia the King of all procedures. For example, Delta, BC has approx. 129,000 residents but the Delta Hospital has no Maternity Ward. Women must go to another city to have their babies. But, they do provide MAiD! Fewer than 1/2 of rural Hospitals in Canada have active Maternity units, leaving many communities without local maternity services and women have to be sent to a Regional Centre - weeks or days before their due date. But a MAID Team will be sent directly to their rural homes for a Death House Call. Why is Canada more interested in Death?☠️

@CoryBMorgan MAiD is being pushed onto people, there is no place to hide from it. It is a utopian fantasy that it could ever function as it was originally sold to Canadians. MAiD should no longer exist in Canada, and certainly never be considered healthcare.

@DltaHspcSociety Yes. My Mom was in a hospice. We watched her die a painful death. Suffocated,struggled for air,contractures from medications. A loved one is dying from the same cancer. They will choose when they die. They will not wait for the total system collapse that Mom did.

"MAiD" is a Political Movement, not medical. We refused to participate in MAiD because we are a Palliative Care organization and k*lling patients is not part of the 50+ year medical discipline. We were stripped of our Hospice in B.C. by the Commies and $8 million worth of assets. Beware!

Here's the MAiD "Compassion Crowd" in action EVICTING D*ING PATIENTS from their beds because we refused to provide MAiD in our Hospice. Fraser Health, under the BC NDP government, walked in and gave our Hospice patients 42 days to get out! Apparently, it's all about "human rights" and "dignity". We were cancelled, confiscated and evicted. British Columbians need MAiD-Free Spaces!

How's that for compassion?!

@DltaHspcSociety This fight will get messy. MAiD is a mistake and getting the medical community to back pedal is near impossible. Half of them see this as a solution and the government sees it as a way to save money in healthcare.

Chatting and chatting, shaking his head. He did not speak to any of the 7 intervenors for their opinions... just the pro-MAiDers. Then took off to get his narrative in by deadline. @iainblackbc The former Hospice had strong religious beliefs. Maid was not one of them. In your last days, or hell, even your “early” days, we have the right to make a choice! Get with the right decade.

End-of-life care requires balance - grounded in dignity, compassion, and respect. When the Delta Hospice Society refused to provide MAID, they lost control of the Irene Thomas Hospice and their funding. Government stepped in. That should concern everyone. Organizations focused on palliative care should not be forced to provide MAID as a condition of public funding.
