@AmericanAir I am trying to send positive feedback to AA regarding experience with an employee, but the compliments/complaints comment box on your website is too short for the message. What email address can I send positive feedback to?

@QuestNutrition I’ve loved Quest bars for years (mint choc chunk is 🤩) but what’s going on w/production? 2nd box ordered through Amazon where some (not all) the bars are shrunken. If only some, then it’s not the heat. Is it shrinkflation? Throw them out? What’s the deal?

@robhoffimagery I'm in awe... we were on our back deck in OCC trying to see *anything*... Pike's Peak was obscured by clouds and sky above the ridge behind GoG looked normal. Thank you for capturing these amazing shots!

I'll take this one. The idea that affirmative action or diversity, equity & inclusion policies equal lower standards is something that a lot of people believe. Instead of citing what "I believe" like Elon did, let's use facts & a something I like to called "math" A thread.
The Vigilant Fox 🦊@VigilantFox

Who Won? Elon Musk Debates Don Lemon Over the Impact of DEI Programs Lemon repeatedly said, “There’s no evidence” that DEI programs are lowering medical standards, a comment @ElonMusk believes is a “false statement.” Who is right? Musk calls on Community Notes to settle the score. LEMON: “There was a repost of Ben Shapiro that you claim that DEI is killing people. Specifically, you point to medicine. You claim that DEI programs are putting people at risk. Do you really believe this to be true? And what evidence do you have to support it?” MUSK: “What I was referring to there was that if we lower the standards for doctors, if the test for a doctor is lowered, then the probability of them making a mistake and killing someone is obviously going to be higher.” LEMON: “Wait, say that again. I’m not sure I understand what you said. I want to make sure I understand what you’re saying.” MUSK: “Yes. If the status for passing medical exams and becoming a doctor, especially something like a surgeon, if the standards are lowered, then the probability that the surgeon will make a mistake is higher. They’re making mistakes in their exam. They may make mistakes with people — and that may result in people dying.” LEMON: “What evidence do you have, though, that they’re lowering the standards? There is no evidence of that.” MUSK: “I believe there is.” LEMON: “There’s no evidence of that, Elon. What is the evidence?” MUSK: “I believe they have literally lowered the standards at Duke University, and that is what the article was referring to. You are saying they have not lowered the standards?” LEMON: “There’s no evidence about lowering standards. And I think that there is —” MUSK: “I believe that is a false statement you’re making.” LEMON: “Okay, well, we’ll figure it out.” MUSK: “The interesting thing is, when this is posted on the X platform, there will be a whole bunch of things that rebut what you said and what I said. And so people can then make their own decision, based on the replies and the rebuttals and the community notes.”

@UPS Hello? I contacted you a week ago, you said you were going to have the corporate team follow up with me for a refund. It’s been a week and have not heard from anyone and your chatbot seems to be starting over from scratch on this issue. Just look at the DM thread pls.

Sen. Katie Britt intimately describes the trauma of a woman being held hostage and raped, but neglects to mention that she would force that women to give birth if she were impregnated.

@JarrelTJohnson I get structural racism but unfamiliar w/ issues at intersection of accreditation & HBCUs (or HSIs/MSIs)... can you share an example or two of how this plays out? Edit: I see some dude in your replies tried to dunk on SAT scores 🫤. Ok I get why he's wrong. Any other examples?

@UPS Thanks for throwing up extra hurdles & making it extra difficult to contact you when trying to rectify bad behavior on the part of UPS Store franchises/employees. You want me to create a UPS account just to email you a complaint??? Add insult to injury, then.

SNL always does this thing where they pretend to make fun of conservatives by inviting them onto the show to launder their racism through comedy sketches without ever actually being shamed or held accountable
Spencer Althouse@SpencerAlthouse

SNL just had Nikki Haley appear as herself during their “Republican town hall” cold open……………..smh. Ayo Edebiri: What do you think was the main cause of the Civil War, and do you think it starts with an "S" and ends with a "lavery"?

A line I hear a lot is: “AI won’t take your job, but someone who uses AI will!” I don’t think that any part of that is necessarily true. AI may take some jobs (& create others). Some tasks will be AI automated without a “person” using it. Many jobs will transform, not get taken

Pfizer is nearly tripling the price of the life saving drug Paxlovid to $1,390. Meanwhile, the company raked in $31 billion in profits last year and paid its CEO $33 million. Corporate greed at its worst.

Corporations have comfortably price gouged for the better part of two years b/c the media refuses to call them on it. Double-digit quarterly price increases that are well beyond inflation but media blames Biden while corporations rake in record profits 🤡

Billionaires have gotten $2 trillion richer since the Trump tax cuts. That’s enough to fund a 10-year expansion of the boosted child tax credit. But no, the GOP would rather extend the cuts — even though the CBO found that this would add $3.5 trillion to the deficit.
