people are forgetting the reason why Iron Lung was able to get screens so easily compared to TADC iron lung was a JANUARY release. little to no big releases happen on that month so cinemas are more willing to take anything that makes them money- iron lung was a perfect storm TADC is releasing in SUMMER, the most crowded time for big releases- backrooms, scary movie, masters of the universe, mandalorian and Toy Story 5 are ALL releasing around then so it’s harder for cinemas to agree when the big corpos are buying up all the screen time. all this to say the momentum is good and impressive but understand it is NOT as easy as ‘give us screens lol’ the cinema chains gotta eat too
