Something about telling the media that “you have a lot of praying to do before making a decision” and then immediately threatening the livelihoods of your staff around 36 hours does not sit right with me. Intrinsically evil.
Jameis Winston was asked if it's hard for him to potentially go back to the bench after how he played on Sunday:
"I mean, as a competitor, like I’ve said always, what I want for myself, I want for everyone. Yeah, I want to play. That's just my heart. I love this game, I love the excitement that comes with it, I love really being the general that's leading the guys. But at the same time, like, what is my role? Right?
My role if Jaxson isn't playing, okay, I'm playing. My role if Jaxson is playing, I'm supporting him like I would be supporting myself for him to be his very best. I take pride in that because one thing about the quarterback position is it’s only one, unless you're in New Orleans because of Taysom Hill... but anyways, it's only one of us that gets a chance to go out there and lead the pack.
So, we have to be, the whole room, me, Russ, coach Tierney, we have to be all in behind our guy to give him the best chance to just do his best on Sunday or Monday or Thursday."
We can't be complaining and moving forward at the same time. What moves us forward is gratitude.
"This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it." (Psalm 118:24)
To our fans, this team is completely locked in, living in the moment, and staying true to our 1-0 mindset for the Egg Bowl and future games. We are unbothered by anything about next year and fully trusting Coach Kiffin’s leadership to keep us moving toward our goals!
There’s no objective reason for Lane Kiffin to leave Ole Miss for Florida. OM will pay him, they’ll give him NIL, and he’s already got it rolling.
If he just wants to go back to the state, that’s 1 thing.
But in 2025, Ole Miss is just as good (maybe better) a job as Florida
UCLA just pulled off the most shocking win I can remember and it has nothing to do with Penn State.
UCLA hadn’t held a lead before today. Got blown out by New Mexico.
