(1/3): After this morning’s messy commute on snowy roads, I asked Mayor Linda Gorton if city crews had been out working overnight. She says crews began pretreating yesterday and continued working overnight and into the morning. @FOX56News
(3/3): Several of Mayor Linda Gorton’s critics, including mayoral challenger Raquel Carter, called the city’s response unacceptable. Gorton responded and said she would love to hear suggestions but so far has heard none.
(2/3): I asked Mayor Linda Gorton what’s being done to prevent this from happening again. She says the city is working to have contracted large ice breaking equipment on call for the rest of this winter and next winter, noting the equipment is too expensive for the city to buy.
