For children with a parent in prison, volunteer mentors provide a neutral and positive role model outside of the family home. Our mentors allow children impacted by parental imprisonment an opportunity to try new things, access resources and develop life skills. Attached is a collage of the activities one of our volunteer mentors, Rachael, has done with their mentee recently. "I love my time mentoring. Over the last year we have done so much. Thousands of you will have heard me talk of the work of Colwyn Trevarthen, whose research radically changed the way we understand babies' communicatory capacities. Sad news has arrived that he died yesterday, peacefully in his sleep. Here he is 2015, at a Child's Curriculum mtg.
