Good luck to former Sea Dogs pitcher Payton Tolle, who will make his Major League debut tonight for the @RedSox. In six games for the Sea Dogs this season Tolle posted a 1-1 record with a 1.67 ERA and 37 strikeouts in 27 innings. ww.mlb.com/redsox/news/pa…

Tolle was dominant at TCU last year. Good fastball shape considering the arm angle, and elite extension makes it play up. Secondaries needed work and I think still do, especially that slider. With added velo on the FB no reason that gyro can't be at least 85

@TheDegenWeekly Skenes is amazing but for reference Merrill at 20 years old had about as good a season as Mccutchen did in 2013 the year he won the MVP. So to say it’s hilarious is simply not accurate.

When I watch Paul Skenes pitch, all I can think about - and I will think about this for the rest of his career - is how people tried to make the argument that Jackson Merrill should have won the NL ROY over him. Hilarious. This guy is generational.
