@rafcolantonio @StrawHatKlaus I suppose it might be harder to appreciate playing it as a dev since a lot of your experience might be "damn, I wish we had time to finish that or expand this or do that differently" I remember Gabe Newell saying how hard it is to play Half-Life because of how involved he was.

@ryandangeremma I love Don't Fear the Reaper conceptually but I never liked how the epilogue plays out the same as The Sun, without really explaining how V got out of the tower. It would have been more impactful if it had just been V dying on his own terms and fucking over Arasaka.

When right wingers talk about supposedly anti fascist media making them look cool - Helldivers or Warhammer for example, I think what they’re noticing is the inherent contradiction in trying to make the consumer ‘disagree’ with something that still has to be marketable and cool.

The argument really seems to be a sentimental, “it hurts my feelings if you do this” which isn’t a terribly sympathetic position. I’m sure there’s something to be said about conformity and trust in the system and rule of law in Japan that I lack the sophistication to express.
