To be clear- this small farmer hired a large company to manage his farm so he doesn’t need to do any work on the farm, and for that he pays them the management fee. Most small farmers don’t do that, most manage themselves and do some work. Claim about an option to sell to a larger company is completely fabricated. His farm is only 7 acres and he lives on it. So his property will be sold as a residential property to whoever buys it. No large company will be interested in 7 acres. They buy hundreds of acres.
