An update on the hot dog saga from last night: I have one, single regret. Wait. Two. 1. Do not microwave a plate with ketchup on it, especially if doing dishes by hand. 2. If you eat all the hot dogs, you have none left for the next day.

Dear Ottawa: thanks for a draining 609th day. We spent 2h with a new onset afib, spent 4h with a dementia patient who didn't speak English, then had a patient tell us how horrible and not very nice we were, because we were putting them in the waiting room. I 💖 you.

Not all drug users need Narcan. Please reserve that for those who aren't breathing. And remember: these are people with names. Humans. No different than you or I aside from their drug of choice. They will not hurt you. They are just trying to survive.
