@biggeorgewrig It’s down to Manchester City council to do that which he doesn’t control

I don’t think Burnham will win Makerfield. Labour’s vote is going to be split in multiple directions. Really doubt Burnham is so popular as to offset that

@Nolberto099 @slbsn You’re not going to get me to defend the current government their doing a crap job but if you think reform are going to improve this country you’ve lost ur mind

@Pcr2702 @slbsn We have already seen one of the alternatives. Will get even worse under Burnham. Currently Labour are making Liz Truss look a good bet. Only going to get a lot worse under an even more left wing govt. Markets already know that. Pretty obvious to anyone with a functioning brain.

@Pcr2702 @slbsn Yeah mostly white working class area wants more immigration, more EU and more disastrous left wing job destroying economic policies. Makes sense.

@Pcr2702 @slbsn Hahaha what? That's the daftest thing I have read in ages. Reform voters are going to vote for Burnham who will be even worse? Makes perfect sense that.

@Nolberto099 @slbsn I disagree If Burnham runs on a anti current Labour Party agenda, he’s also popular enough within GM to convince Green & reform voters alike to lend him their vote, It will also depend on the reform candidate anyone like Matt Goodwin reform will get trounced

@Pcr2702 @slbsn Then and now are two totally different things. Also the incentive to give a scheming politician for a party that is deeply unpopular a punch on the nose will be very popular.

@PolitlcsUK No less than he deserves. Brexit was the best thing that has happened to this country in the past 50 years.

Jeremy Doku: "There is one thing; when I look at my goals, all the goals this season, I don't see one tap-in. And when I look at, for example, @sterling7 and his seasons at #ManCity, all the tap-ins that he scored, at least five, six, seven a season. "When I look at my goals, it's all top goals, don't get me wrong, but I want to score also those goals where I just tap-in, second post, run in and tap-in, and it just adds more goals to my account. That's really the thing that I need to work on. "These goals will come, they'll be there every time, but if I add easy goals, you have to be there - that's the aspect I want to work on. To not only stay on the side and do my actions and score those types of goals, but also the easy tap-ins..." [via @SkySportsPL]

@Jsize18 The Bernardo Silva foul on Röhl, the yellow for Beto for nothing, no yellow for O’Reilly, six minutes added + one extra, God knows how many ridiculous free kick calls. No point us even turning up at a point.

This is what’s left of Maine Road today… Manchester City’s old centre circle still preserved in the middle of a housing estate. Football history never really disappears 👏

A £200 day out. Had a £200 day out there 3 weeks ago and got a £200 day out in 3 weeks. Throw into it European aways this year too. Anyone got the winning lottery numbers for next week or a money tree?

Pep: “Not many journalists here, like it’s not important…” 🤷‍♂️ Journalist: “Like your support…” 😬 Pep: “Yeah, you’re right. They will come to the final…” 🫣 Pretty unprofessional of the journo to say that about the fans, but Pep didn’t disagree… 😲
