Upon arrival, deputies located a heavily burned pickup truck abandoned in a field. The scene has been secured, & investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. There have been no injuries reported at this time.

UPDATE: STOLEN VEHICLE RECOVERED – SUSPECT IN CUSTODY! Corporal Espinal has successfully recovered the stolen vehicle in the 4800 block of Bridgeview Lane. The suspect was taken into custody without incident and has been charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle (UUMV).

FLOOD WARNING ISSUED FOR HARRIS COUNTY! NEW from the US National Weather Service Houston-Galveston: A Flood Warning has been issued for portions of Harris County until 2:30 PM. Heavy rainfall may lead to flooded streets and rapidly changing road conditions across the area.
