We’re here! Our strengthening insider mediation for conflict prevention and peacebuilding in The Gambia kicks off Basse with an intensive 2-day training for Insider Mediators and Kanyalengs groups on Mediation and Mental Health and Psychosocial Support. 🙏 EU and @UNDP

With support from the Federal Republic of Germany, we’re launching the Migrant Media Action Project (MMAP) with @r0gAgency Amplifying youth voices, countering misinformation, and promoting migration as part of sustainable peace.

3,500+ travelers are observed daily at key points of entry between The Gambia—Senegal, reflecting the importance of improved border infrastructure. With @JapanEmbSenegal’s funding, IOM inaugurated three new borders to enhance safety & security, livelihoods and economic activity.
