Seeing women celebrate their achievements, share their degrees, talk about the PhDs, Master’s degrees, research projects, businesses, and milestones they’ve achieved at such young ages is honestly beautiful to see.
But beyond celebrating them, I want to encourage you to do something else.
Keep women around you who mirror the possibilities of the things you want to become.
You don’t necessarily need to know them personally. You don’t need to have their phone numbers, be in their inner circle or even viewing their WhatsApp status.
Just follow their work.
Read their posts.
Watch their journey.
Pay attention to how they think.
Observe how they navigate opportunities.
There is something powerful about constantly seeing evidence that your dreams are possible.
When you regularly see women getting the PhD, publishing the paper, winning the fellowship, leading the organization, speaking on global stages, or breaking barriers in their field, it begins to register in your mind that these things are achievable.
Representation does more than inspire, it expands your sense of what is possible.
So celebrate these women, but also learn from them. Let their journeys remind you that your goals are not too ambitious and your dreams are not too big.
Sometimes, the fastest way to believe something is possible is to see someone who looks like you doing it.
I go lie for you?🥹

Hi women, can you post pictures or talk about your academic achievements? I need some motivation this month. If you see this tweet, share it so women can see it.

Handling children outside Nigeria has taught me premium patience 😂😂😂😂
This particular student has been extra grumpy and naughty for about a month now 😭😭. I just teach my class and gently calm him down whenever he throws tantrums 😂😂.
Today, in the middle of class, he said
Olùkọ́, pẹ̀lẹ́, má bínú... mo nífẹ̀ẹ́ olùkọ́ mi. You're my best teacher." 🥹❤️
Omo, my day was instantly made 🤭🤭♥️✨
