1) Why do US/Israel seem to be undermining their own negotiations?

@PeacefulTreason Its only theory, but I think Trump did believe that decapitating Iran would result in immediate popular revolt (as Israel told him it would) and, now that its obvious that isn't happening, he's just trying to salvage this thing, save face, and do what he can to "win."

Trump's message will be an attempt at clarifying the strategic objective—mostly through gaslighting—and a rallying cry for political and market momentum.
