Everyone thinks this paragraph means the Browns were seriously considering Ty Simpson in the first round. But if you actually read the article, that’s not how it sounded to me. Andrew Berry was talking about trying to create valuations and projections for the QB prospects in a class that wasn’t as strong as previously expected. Obviously, Mendoza was the top guy, and he was gone first. So really, the QB board started with Ty Simpson, and the values of the QBs would be determined by how long he stayed on the board. "The Browns weren’t ignoring the position in the draft so much as understanding the value of the draft relative to their evaluations and expectations of the board." To me, it sounds like Ty Simpson was the top QB on their board after Mendoza (just like all 32 teams likely had). But just because they projected him to go in the first round doesn’t mean that’s the value they had on him.

This is a business that Deion is 16-21 in. Deion has failed at every business venture he’s had, but we don’t need to take about Prime Prep and all that today. Outside of being a Football Player; failure has followed him

Brought myself here. I was 100% support of what I thought was a good coach who would do things the right way: wasn’t fun finding out it was the complete opposite. I’ve been there for so many Colorado players behind the scenes that people will never know
