@GianDavassi We need some wow factor when showing Polkadot to newbs. Some way to demonstrate Polkadot. I try and tell people about Dot, but it's hard to quickly explain or show what makes it special. The pieces are all there.

Polkadot needs to expand its ecosystem with dApps that onboard new real users and drive token adoption. Today, the offering on Polkadot is too way limited, especially when compared to ecosystems like Ethereum or Solana. Just to give an example: even with $25m the ecosystem could support new 50 different dApp teams (choosen by Opengov) with $500K each, increasing the rollups and onboarding new real users. If nobody buys, the price is destined to fall due to inflation.

Investing $25m on 50 dApps might no be a good idea. It would just dilute Polkadot's focus and Resources and mass adoption isn't even guaranteed if they do. It would be like artificially inflating the ecosystem to solve price inflation.😅😅 Instead, they can work more on their social presence and put already existing dApps the spotlight. Show people why they should use their product and even fund/accommodate based devs in the ecosystem. A $5m hackathon or grant would probably be a better idea. Interesting take though
