Considering how much bloat a lot of AAA studios currently include in their games to try to justify $70+ prices, all I see this doing is massively increasing the standard. If a game has a base cost of $100 I'm going to look at everything with a far more critical eye than $60.

Someone unqualified to hold a senior academic position giving her sister in law an unearned degree. Why? What possible benefit does this do anyone other confer more gongs and titles on these people who do so little?

@EllipsisGoblins It's typical of people that truly don't understand how close some people live to the edge, through no real choice of their own. Sure, $2 doesn't seem like a big deal, but $2/day is already $60/month. If your margin between net income and fixed costs is $200 or so, thats a lot.
