"It's just a reminder, there's so much good young talent. And the reality is, we don't know who's going to handle being a pro the right way."
@AndyTFE & @BrendanPorath on Jacob Bridgeman's rise to Signature Event winner:

@Coach_Mackay_ I always enjoyed coaching at that course. Good variety of holes and good play is rewarded. Nice playing today

Having lots of emails from people loving using the tracker.

@JustinRayGolf @padraig_h Go a step further, not all SG approach the same, gain +0.2 from 100y and gain +0.2 from 160y you have a very different birdie probability
English

@padraig_h But if player A averages 15 yards longer off the tee than player B and they both shoot 68, strokes gained can explain the different paths taken to the same destination. I've always found that to be SG's most interesting trait when it comes to storytelling.
English

I know the stats guys won’t like me saying this but there’s a flaw in SG. (It’s still the best system we have) But the simple way for a “tour” player to improve their SG approach is to drive badly or consevatively. Good putters are bad SG tee to green etc,

Rory McIlroy has had nearly 700 PGA Tour rounds measured by ShotLink in his career. Today was just the 3rd time he gained 3+ strokes on the field with both his putting and his approach play.

@brianmanzella Just curious do we know how much torque the clubhead is exerting on the shaft at these same times?
English

Since there is a lot of speculation on how much Gamma Torque there is in a golf swing, here is a very well known player on a driver swing.
Brian Manzella@brianmanzella
Gamma Torque is basically the effort to twist the shaft open or closed. This famous player twists it opens a bit in transition, ramps up the closing-peaking around P5 & dives into opening twist pre-impact. The power of a software that scares the whole industry. No more guessing!!

Is the @Bucknell_MGolf Invite the shortest DI course currently being sued? @GolfweekRingler

@LAmustangFB @AcademyLipscomb 2 nationally ranked teams practiced in the MAC today. 1 just had a big victory on ESPN. The other is looking to improve on consecutive state runner-up finishes at the D2 state girls golf tournament. We’re thankful for an indoor facility! Go Mustangs!
