The Pembs Coast's natural landscape provides a glimpse into the history of the National Park — not least through our many amazing rock formations 🪨😲 If you're lucky, you may spot small remnants of wave-cut platforms — formed circa. 125,000 years ago!

The Milford Haven Waterway is the second deepest natural harbour in the world (after Sydney Harbour in Australia). 😲🐚 It’s also home to Carew Castle – Pembrokeshire’s visitor attraction of the year and a fantastic family day out!

The Pembs coast = a sanctuary for puffins! Each year, around 6,000 puffins return to spend spring and summer on Skomer Island. Standing at just 30cm from beak to tail, these small but mighty seabirds are part of the largest colony in Southern Britain 😲🌊 #PembrokeshireCoast

What do beach flags mean? 🤔🏳️ 🟡🔴 — lifeguarded area, safest place to swim, great for inflatables. ⚫⚪ — great for surfboards, paddleboards, kayaks and other non-powered craft. Do not swim or bodyboard.

Following its designation in 1952, the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park now has over 150 staff members, 18 Park Authority Members and 100s of volunteers contributing to its mission — to conserve and enhance the natural beauty, wildlife and cultural heritage of the Pembs Coast 🌊
