You can choose to lay down and blow your money on feel good stuff now, or you can choose to better your position with it.

@Defaultdevil2 @midwest_it_girl 96k a year is 8k a month. 2k mortgage is exactly 25% on 8k. But 8k isn't the take-home pay. Taxes, insurance make that much less. That's assuming she makes avg. 30% down is 80k. It is incredibly hard to save that much in this day and age. Other bills make that much harder.

@Defaultdevil2 @midwest_it_girl I will always advocate for people to buy over rent. I never never rented and bought my first house 3 years ago because of what you said. But younger people are being priced out purposely so they can get stuck in the never ending renting cycle. Houses are just way too expensive.

Just like we know the best dunkers in the world aren’t necessarily in the nba, we need to start considering that for shooting as well, there are ppl out here who just don’t have the ball skills or athleticism to play in the nba, but when it comes to shooting they do it at a ridiculously high level
