Russian strikes on Kyiv overnight damaged the warehouse of Ukrainian publisher “Shche Odu Storinku” and a logistics center of the publishing house “Ranok.” Power infrastructure and generators were destroyed, causing delays in book orders. Staff and books were not harmed.

Ukraine’s Supreme Court upheld a life sentence for a man who guided a Russian missile strike on Ria Pizza in #Kramatorsk (June 27, 2023). 13 killed, 64 injured, including Colombian nationals. Among the victims was writer #ViktoriaAmelina, who later died of her wounds.

On March 24, a Russian drone struck Lviv’s Soborna Square, damaging the Bernardine Monastery ensemble — a key 17th-century architectural complex and @UNESCO-listed site. The attack also hit a residential building within the complex, damaging 17 apartments.

During Russia’s overnight attack on Jan 24, the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra — a 1,000-year-old Orthodox monastery and @UNESCO World Heritage Site — was damaged for the first time since WWII. Churches, cave entrances, windows, and facades were affected.

🕯Every year, on the fourth Saturday of November, Ukraine and the world commemorate millions of victims who died during the man-made famines of 1921–22, 1932–33, and 1946–47. The Holodomor was a deliberate genocide planned to destroy Ukrainians and break their resistance.

On November 21, Ukraine marks the Day of Dignity and Freedom — the anniversary of the Orange Revolution (2004) and the Revolution of Dignity (2013). This day symbolizes Ukraine's commitment to the ideals and principles of building a democratic state and the ideas of freedom.

Iryna #Danylovych, a Crimean civic journalist and activist who has been held in Russian custody since 2022, has been named a laureate of the “Story of Injustice” human rights prize, which honors victims of political persecution.
