Pengugotchi rebalanced the adventure rewards and death rates-- much better risk-reward at play now. BEFORE: Paid Adventures were usually a 10-30% loss on investment-- even worse if your peng got hurt. Hard to justify outside of the 2x rewards event tbh. AFTER: Successful Adventures give back AT LEAST the amount paid with a good chance for more, and with a lower chance of hurt pengs. W changes, @PenguinGotchi . With this, the game seems actually worth playing now. 🫡 One last suggestion is that the heal fee of 100 * Lvl is still a bit steep-- i think this should scale equally with the level up rewards multiplier; i.e. 1.1x for lvl 2, 1.2x for lvl 3, up to 3.5x for lvl 10.

ABOUT $GOTCHI LAUNCH We want to come forward and clarify the situation: NO KOLs WERE PAID IN ANY WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM—not directly, not through airdrops, and not via ECA. Additionally, most of the KOLs who promoted the project pre-launch didn’t even manage to get an entry due to the aggressive price action at launch. ECA was not necessary to snipe the launch. Since there aren’t many new pairs daily, scanning the chain and waiting for deployment was very doable—no inside information was required. As for the claim that “everyone was posting the coin at its highs,” this happens with nearly every coin launch. It's not their fault the price dropped afterward. Regarding the price action: the game is designed to reward players more as their penguins reach higher levels. However, because the price opened so high, many players lost a significant amount trying to level up to 3 or 4, which understandably raised questions about the game mechanics. Now, with a lower market cap, the game is much more accessible—and recovery mode is ON.
