@1sulez Paradox Junction is perfectly fun despite being the weakest Standard map in the game. The BO2 sequel game deserved to have a Nuketown Zombies remaster, and I would’ve been disappointed if it didn’t.

@ZC2forBO7 Thank you bro, I bring ts up every time I hear anyone say "paid dlc was better." We truly just haven't gotten the opportunity for free DLC to shine like back when it was paid. We are only now seeing that shine with AotD and Astra.

Two things I want people to consider when they say that the quality of Zombies was better with paid DLC: 1) Treyarch spent BO4–MWIII getting completely screwed over by Activision. The quality of the BOCW and Vanguard maps are so low compared to BO6 and BO7 because Treyarch didn’t have the proper amount of time to work on them. The maps themselves being free is irrelevant to that. Firebase Z and Forsaken wouldn’t have magically been better maps just because they had a price tag. 2) The paid DLC and free DLC are made by different people in different eras of the game. This debate isn’t comparing paid vs free—it’s actually comparing the Zielinski/Blundell maps to the Drew maps. People have such a fondness for the previous eras of Zombies that it’s no wonder they think paid DLC creates higher quality maps.
