The San Mateo County Transportation Authority is excited announce the successful completion of the US 101/University Avenue Pedestrian Bridge! This project is a major step forward in improving safety, connectivity, and access for our community.

“Being able to go over this bridge and know that the mothers I see pushing baby strollers are crossing on a completely separate walkway is vitally important,” SMCTA Chair and East Palo Alto Councilmember Carlos Romero said. “This project has stitched the community back together.”
