Trachoma — a blinding disease that has been in the country for over 100 years — has officially been eliminated as a public health problem in Libya. This isn’t just a medical milestone. It’s a testament to extraordinary resilience. Years of political instability. Humanitarian crises. Strained health systems. Displaced populations.
