Pennsylvania's Medical Amnesty Law protects students from prosecution for underage drinking if they seek medical help for themselves or for a friend experiencing alcohol overdose or other alcohol-related distress. ALWAYS call 911 in an emergency.

Officers Stevick and Luzier had the opportunity to participate in the Association for Residence Hall Students (ARHS) Alcohol Awareness Mocktail Night at Findlay Commons this week. They served up their version of a Shirley Temple a.k.a. "The Po-Po Punch."

Thousands of college students are taken to the emergency room each year for alcohol overdose. This life-threatening condition requires immediate medical attention. Please always call 911 if you suspect an alcohol overdose. #PennState #PennStatePolice #PennStatePublicSafety

This week, the Penn State York student Thon group hosted a “Pie in the Face” fundraiser, raising a total of $329! UPPS Officer Bob Lehman, the Athletics Director, Nittany Success Center Director, a professor, and a student all volunteered to take pies in the face for the event.
