The second half saw Pennington resurgent and determined to protect the unbeaten run which we did with aplomb. A free kick from Chris Lowe found the top bins. A hat-trick from Heath Ainscow and a well worked team goal for the fifth by Niall Battersby ensured the game end 5-2.

Game of two halves today against @mcrcentralfc. They started well and were 1-0 in two mins and quickly took it to 2-0 where it stayed at the HT break. The first half also saw both teams reduced to 10 men when when the Central midfielder grab our number 10s throat.

So it would seem that the latest football tradition to be sacrificed on the altar of money are FA Cup semi-finals at neutral venues.
