@Pent1283228 @_sno_h The fan base was very vocal about wanting Yokai watch 4 to be officially translated, but level 5 never listened. Meanwhile Bandai namco listened to overseas fans about releasing Digimon games outside of Japan. And it was a success.

This is just pure elitism lmao If a game doesn’t sell well or perform up to expectations, that doesn’t mean they’ll have an inflated price. Games that don’t sell well won’t fetch a high price on the market. Yokai watch sold well. And they’ve made it clear they won’t localize.

@Pent1283228 That's not even an official announcement, just their PR saying they want to translate it, it would be a much different case if it was officially stated like the smartphone release of Yokai 1

@Pent1283228 This is the last we heard from a multi-lingual release of 4, since then they recently translated the game to Chinese a few years ago, but at this current point in time we do not have any information on 4's English translation since it was likely cancelled

@Misumi_Kirigaya 3の発売が遅れた点は同情はするが仕方ないことでは？レベルファイブ自体、大企業では無いし翻訳に時間かかるのは仕方ない事だと思うけど。海外の需要に対して多言語版を出すという「最低限」の条件はクリアしてると思うあと、そうした広報の失敗は学んでるはずださらイナイレが世界展開できたのでは？
