@PepperLaPep @aurelievgrx I feel you! The transition from obsession to actual feelings was so powerful, but the writers missed the mark. Seeing them together was the heart of the show: S3 & S4 should have explored their dynamic deeper with actual interactions between them. Such a waste!

I had to stop the show cold turkey for literally like 3 yrs and have only started watching bits of it to write my story. You have Jodie/ Sandra & intentionally keep them apart S3?! Drives me mad

V is such a brilliant character, radiating life in every scene also thanks to Jodie's incredible talent. It’s a masterpiece of a show, it's painful that S4 was ruined by poor writing and rushed ending

She tells C SHE wants to bring down the 12, but then she lets V do all the dirty work (bringing us back to the psychopath theory). There was so much more to E that was left unexplored or just badly written

Eve has a mega fantasy life about V that we do not see. It exists between the lines. It comes out in bits and pieces. V’s Eve’s forbidden fruit

@PepperLaPep @aurelievgrx This is so true that it sometimes makes me wonder if she truly has feelings for V or if she’s just addicted to the chaos V represents. If Eve is the actual psychopath, then V might just be her ultimate asset for whatever she's up to (like the Ghost or the 12).

What does she want cuz soon as V is saying okay let’s run away together she’s acting like V is gum on her shoe. What is her goal

@PepperLaPep @aurelievgrx BUT then Eve also drops lines like 'When I try and think of my future, I just see your face over and over again' so I refuse to fully believe in this theory. It would be amazing to see if Eve is even capable of reciprocating that attraction without the thrill of the hunt.

Her dynamic with V is stellar but you’ve got a 20+ yr old 10/10 looking Villanelle standing in front of you the whole show…4 seasons…you’ll even kill for her, but you won’t reciprocate attraction. It’s mental

@PepperLaPep @aurelievgrx That scene was just painful to watch. Actually, all of S4’s interactions were difficult as we never saw what happened on the bridge. I believe E held a grudge because while she was finally embracing her monster, V was doing the exact opposite. It’s like E felt betrayed by V imo

@aurelievgrx @Taissia_ Eve is great, I could relate to Eve. My problem is for someone literally unraveling she’s completely switched off when V is in front of her 99% of the time and that is the part I don’t believe. We shouldn’t see Eve giving more to Helene ugh! 😪

@Taissia_ You’re right but I think people struggle with Eve because of her hypocrisy and self-denial, especially next to Villanelle being painfully honest 🥹

I think halfway through S4 they found out there was no S5 and Laura N. was never supposed to be ending the show. She didn’t know how to. She wasn’t hired to end it, Kayleigh was in S5.

@aurelievgrx @PepperLaPep We desperately need a S5. S4 left Eve in such an unresolved place: we saw her unravel, but never got to see her fully embrace or confront this new identity. It feels like an unfinished character arc. We need to see them finally and properly interacting now that the masks are off

@Fra_TrixiePixie @aurelievgrx It’s bad writing S3 -S4. I thought it was finally coming back around when E & V had that moment after V murdered Helene. They didn’t. The lost COVID season, the one that was to exist after S4. It was going to have everything Kayleigh was going to do an epic season. 😩

@aurelievgrx @Fra_TrixiePixie Eve’s losing her job, friends are dying, her marriage is suffering & won’t show attraction to V. She’ll jump Hugo before showing V anything. That’s my biggest annoyance. The bus kiss was manipulation. S4 kiss was Jodie/Sandra went off script. On paper Eve never yielded.

@Fra_TrixiePixie @PepperLaPep That was so hard to watch. Eve lied to herself for so long that she drifted far from who she really is. Actually, I think she doesn’t even know who she is anymore. She shut everything down and maybe resents Villanelle for exposing parts of her she never wanted to see?
