It's taken like a week, but the harness is on! Pooka doesn't understand why this is happening, but she tolerates it. Mostly. In any case, she will be very happy when the harness means she gets to visit with people and sell dice under a tent with me this year.

Trying to get Queso more comfortable outside the bird room. He's the only bird that freaks out about going outside of it. Anyway, he has some opinions.

Years ago, when I first got Duckie, he was just about to be able to be put into the Aviator harness. Unfortunately one day, I just got part of it around his neck, something spooked him and he took off flying and nearly strangled himself because I didn't know I was sitting on the other end and it pulled it tight around his neck. Now he doesn't want to be around them at all. ☹️

Pooka loves people. I think she would enjoy going to outdoor market events to sell dice with me. Thus, we begin the process of seeing if she will eventually wear the flight suit harness thing.

@itsabbyyyyy Not sure. There is still at least 1K each on my CareCredit card and my partner's. Then I still owe some money for cremation when I pick up her ashes
