‼️Please read to the end‼️Let it sink in: NY pups after intake. Look into their eyes. Do you see the pattern? Desperation. Hopelessness. Terror. Grief. Disbelief. And a silent plea. The dogs we network here, are often instant kill targets because they are traumatized victims already, will probably not warm up easily. ACC won’t deal with any issues interrupting their work flow ⛔️ Sugarcoats: 🔺Found stray = DUMPED! 🔺History is a mystery = DUMPED! 🔺Malnourished = NEGLECTED! 1) They are added to the at risk list = TBK. 2) They get a kill command and are removed from the system 3) They are killed shortly after. That’s their fate - if we ignore the silent plea. What can we do? 🔹retweet (not like) 🔹pledge for rescue 🔹foster 🔹adopt 🔹spay/neuter your dog Interrupt the vicious cycle, leave your comfort zone and become a beacon of hope for these railroaded dogs who were family members once. It’s not easy. But it’s the right thing to do. It needs a village. 🙏🏻
