I am starting to feel this tbh for the past 20 days in sandhu. Almost everyone, ppl who voted for TVK and also DMKians. Questioning, criticizing, complimenting is okay. But I see too much reaction for everything for both good/bare minimum measures and also for worst/bad/seemingly bad things from both sides. Konjo naal wait panni...noticing and observing is important nu thonudhu. Atleast thats what I feel, be it any party...apo dhaa efficientaa question/oppose/criticize/appreciate pana mudyum 😭 :) [DMK va ipdi panniyaadaa apdinu kaekavaenaam I started criticising DMK very lately...ofc I won't do that mistake now with TVK]

Her name was Dr Kruthika M Reddy. She was 29 years old. A dermatologist working at Victoria Hospital in Bengaluru. She had married Dr Mahendra Reddy, a general surgeon at the same hospital, on May 26 2024. They had been married for less than a year. On April 21 2025 she told her husband she was experiencing gastric discomfort. He inserted an intravenous cannula into her right leg at their home in Gunjur and told her he would administer medicine through it. He was a surgeon. She trusted him. The next morning he dropped her at her parents’ home in Munnekollal and told her family she needed rest. He went to work and returned that evening to administer another dose through the cannula. On April 23 she sent him a WhatsApp message saying the IV site was painful and asking if she could remove the cannula. He told her not to. He said another dose would take the pain away. That night he entered her room and said he needed to prepare her medicines. The following morning, April 24, Kruthika was found unresponsive. Mahendra did not attempt CPR. She was rushed to hospital and declared dead on arrival. She had been planning to open her own clinic the following month. The night before she died she had sent drafts of her prescription pad to her sister, dined with her parents and fed their dog before going to her room at 9:30 PM. Her family initially believed she had died of natural causes. After her death, Mahendra opposed a postmortem and persuaded her father not to allow it. Her sister Dr Nikitha, a radiologist, refused to accept it and insisted on a full investigation. Six months later the Forensic Science Laboratory confirmed that Kruthika’s death was caused by propofol, a powerful controlled anaesthetic used only in operation theatres, found across multiple organs in her body. Mahendra had procured it using his professional access as a surgeon. At the crime scene, investigators recovered IV fluids, syringes with traces of propofol and a cannula set. He was arrested on October 14 2025 from Manipal, where he had relocated after her death. After five days of interrogation he confessed to procuring the drug and injecting her. Police filed a 4,000 page chargesheet before a Bengaluru court. Investigators found he had been demanding money from her family to build a hospital and had subjected her to mental and financial harassment within months of the wedding. During digital forensics, police found something else. After Kruthika died, Mahendra had sent a message to a woman he was pursuing via the notes section of the PhonePe payment app, after she had blocked him on every other platform. The message said, “I killed my wife for you.” He sent a version of that message to four to five different women. If Dr Nikitha had not insisted on that investigation, none of this would have come to light. He was a surgeon. He had taken an oath to protect life. Follow for stories India deserves to remember.
