On Thursday the 26th of March, the government opened the consultation into banning “trail hunting” in England and Wales. This is your opportunity to have your say. The consultation consists of 29 questions for which the HSA have provided guidance to assist you in formulating strong responses. We have applied our extensive knowledge of hunting to this guidance to ensure that a watertight ban is finally implemented. Visited #RSPBBlacktoftSands yesterday. Visibility was poor and the fog did not clear till lunchtime so decided to go to Old Goole to find the 2 Waxwings reported there before returning to Blacktoft. @SYorkshireBirds @britishbirds #thephotohour

The Glossy Ibis flew very close to me @Nottswildlife Idle Valley reserve and started catching small fish.@britishbirds @IdleValleyChat

The last 2 years a Peregine site in the Midlands had failed, this due to the gutters blocked and flooding an old Raven nest. The team made contact, cleaned up the site and built a new home. The Pair are now back on the site using the new nest box and no doubt with be a success🫶

Home from a long weekend in Dorset. A highlight for me was watching Dartford Warblers. Even managed a couple of decent pictures. They took some finding, but it was worth the effort.
