Attended PM @narendramodi’s #RamnathGoenkaLecture at the invitation of @IndianExpress last night. He spoke of India's "constructive impatience" for development and strongly pushed for a post-colonial mindset.
The PM emphasized that India is no longer just an 'emerging market' but an 'emerging model' for the world, noting its economic resilience. PM Modi said he’d been accused of being in “election mode” all the time, but he was really in “emotional mode” to redress the problems of the people.
A significant part of the speech was dedicated to overturning Macaulay's 200-year legacy of "slave mentality." PM Modi appealed for a 10-year national mission to restore pride in India’s heritage, languages, and knowledge systems. I wish he had also acknowledged how Ramnath Goenka had used English to raise a voice for Indian nationalism!
On the whole, the PM’s address served as both an economic outlook and a cultural call to action, urging the nation to be restless for progress. Glad to have been in the audience despite battling a bad cold and cough!

Netflix is deliberately choosing to pay people to create sexualized content for children.
Freedom of speech should be respected, but this is PAID speech. Netflix is going out of their way and reaching into their wallet to push this.

If irresponsibility has a face, it is @RahulGandhi, Leader of Opposition in LS. To throw baseless allegations at people in public life, even those who are no longer with us, is becoming a personality trait in him. His remarks on late Shri. Arun Jaitley is despicable.
India needs a strong opposition party. An irresponsible leadership hurts his party @INCIndia and the country. But does he care?

I will be raising the issue regarding the show called India’s Got Latent as a member in the standing committee of IT& Communication for the kind of vulgar , blasphemous content that is passed off as comedy. We need to set boundaries since these platforms influence young minds and they are passing off absolute rubbish as content. The language used by Ranveer Allahabadia which was also actively encouraged by others on that ‘comedy panel’ is unacceptable.

Justice done!!!! but looking holistically at this whole event what does this really say about the @FA_PGMOL as a body?? They had ample time to remedy the situation and take ownership of the error , but they absolutely abandoned their responsibility and chose to play the victim game and gaslight fans. The culture of being above the law and boys cult festering with the #PGMOL needs to be tamed to protect this beautiful game we all love. #AFC

Deeply upsetting to see @RahulGandhi claim that @mausamii2u is wearing a ‘BJP badge/T shirt’ only because she asked a perfectly legitimate question to him. I have known Mausami Singh for a long while and she is a fearless journalist who reports with integrity. Netas must stop targeting journalists who are simply doing their job. Mr Gandhi is free not to answer a question but this attitude of lashing out at journalists by branding them ‘party agents’ in press conferences must stop. Yes, there are many who have surrendered their basic integrity, yes the opposition has often been treated unfairly but stop bashing every journalist in a fit of pique . Just like ‘sab neta’ are not chors, not every journalist is compromised. And we don’t need your certificates either. In full solidarity with Mausami. 👍
