Happy Mother's Day to all "mums" out there! "Glimmers are those moments in your day that make you feel joy, happiness, peace, or gratitude. Once you trai your mind to look for them, you'll see them more and more."- jumpstartyourjoy

Today is the first ever ARFID AWARENESS DAY - thanks to @ArfidUk for all their work. Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (aka ARFID) is an eating disorder which lacks awareness and understanding. There are currently no treatment guidelines for it which means that services/pathways are not commissioned for treating it. Too often people with ARFID often don’t receive the care they need and deserve. A core reason for this is the lack of research establishing effective treatments, though there is some evidence showing adapted treatments for anorexia and a variety of psychological interventions may be helpful. Today is a landmark occasion for ARFID. The more we shout that people with ARFID deserve better, the more people that know about ARFID, the more awareness that is raised and the more likely we are to be heard. #ARFIDAwarenessDay #ARFID

Tummy time is important to help babies develop the strength and ability to roll and, eventually, crawl! However, tummy time must be supervised and it’s important to stop if your little one gets tired so they don’t fall asleep in that position.

Trying to sleep when it’s too hot is miserable! 🥵 Here’s a 30sec animation on how to keep a room cool in the hot weather. And remember, you can also reduce the number of layers your baby sleeps in (even down to just a nappy, if necessary) to help keep them cool.
