Spring is definitely my favourite season! Our cuckoo was back a week early - first heard on the 30th April - and the swallows are back to nest in the sheds. The wetlands on the farm have bought back curlew and snipe. Nature fest!

All of these places are only a short drive away and well worth a visit. Stonehaven Harbour, Dunnotter castle and Crovie.

At last some gorgeous Spring weather. Still a dusting of snow on the mountains.
