Shraddha Walkar Case Some Truths That No One Will Tell You Shraddha already knew that Aaftab was Muslim, a drug addict, alcohol drinker, and smoker, yet she still entered into a relationship with him (2018). Her parents repeatedly opposed the relationship (2018-2019) because of the interfaith issue and the risk of violence. They explained this many times and asked her to leave the relationship. Shraddha replied to her parents – “I am 25 years old, it is my decision, I will live in a live-in relationship with Aaftab. From today, I am no longer your daughter.” Shraddha and her parents went to Aaftab’s house to discuss marriage, but Aaftab’s parents refused the marriage and insulted Shraddha’s parents. After that, Shraddha went against her mother and father and moved to Delhi (Mehrauli, Chhatarpur Pahadi) to live in a live-in relationship with Aaftab (2019). After the police complaint, Shraddha herself gave a written statement saying “the matter has been settled, there is no dispute, I am withdrawing the complaint.” Because of this, the police closed the case. The abuse continued for 2-3 years. After every fight, she would shamelessly go back to him, going against her parents. On 18 May 2022, after an argument, Aaftab strangled Shraddha to death, cut her body into 35 pieces, stored them in a fridge, and dumped them in the jungle. Father (Vikas) filed a missing report in October 2022. In November 2022, Delhi Police arrested Aaftab after investigation. Police investigation revealed that Aaftab had murdered her. Father (Vikas) died of a heart attack in February 2025. He was waiting for justice for his daughter, but the case kept dragging on, so he could not see justice. No sympathy for her. One Hindu man was saved from this mess. Condolences only to her parents. Till now Hindutva groups are creating an atmosphere by calling her innocent and sanskari and saying we should shed tears for her, labeling it a “love jihad” case. But this was not even a love jihad case. In reality, this girl was a rand who had no respect for her parents. Even after her parents refused, she kept going back to him again and again. She ruined her parents’ name, spat on their hard work and love. Because of her, her mother and father died in sorrow. Will you shed tears for such a girl? Was this girl really innocent?
