It’s sad man… family friend just found out he’s got cancer. I tried to tell him, real talk, gave him the knowledge on how to actually deal with it… didn’t wanna hear none of it. And his wife? Even worse. Fully shut it down. Don’t wanna hear NOTHING outside that old religious way of thinking. Now he’s just sitting there begging on his knees, praying nonstop, stressing, worrying, putting deadlines on it… literally manifesting the worst. Saying it over and over, feeding it every day. That’s what gets me… you’re begging to be saved while reinforcing the thing you’re scared of. Like a reverse prayer. Religion really does something to people’s minds, it’s mad to watch.
