We were saddened to hear of the death of Yassin Hassan, a great friend of our ministry to the persecuted Church in Sudan. Yassin was a talented photographer and videographer who shot thousands of hours of footage and photos of the work of Persecution Project through the years. Yassin recently joined his brothers in fighting to liberate Dilling from the Islamist SAF. Dilling has been the source of many SAF drone attacks against Nuba civilians. Yassin was killed in the fighting yesterday. He leaves behind a wife and two young children. Pray for them and all the innocent victims of war, genocide and religious persecution in Sudan. May their souls rest in eternal peace.
