Here's more of what we've been working on - the character select screen, with portraits based on sketches by @ikiruse! They even change color! Woaow! These are the eight characters you start the game with - as you unlock more, they'll get their own spots on the screen!

In the first Petal Crash, there were a few pre-made block sets - in Petal Crash 2, you'll be able to make your own, by picking from many block designs and thousands of possible colors! Our programmer @JillKatze recorded this demo of the system in progress - check it out!

One of my favorite Petal community bits was all the best players insisting they were bad at the game (when they are CLEARLY not), and subsequently, the prize of winning a Petal Crash tournament becoming the right to say you're bad at the game

You're only allowed to say you're bad at the game if you beat everyone else at it
