We’ve now looked into the catalogue description for AYY 238/2 and can confirm it was incorrectly labelled. As can be seen in this image, the original record from the War Office supplied with the film in 1942 does incorrectly label the aircraft in the film as Spitfires. <1/2>

@MichaelAHann Could I ask where you’re watching it? Have seen a lot of great things but can’t find where to watch it.

@elslariks It’s just constantly changing. I do think it depends on where you’re staying. We’re northwest and it’s not too bad, the northeast seems most badly affected. But it’s so hard as these things change so fast.

@PeteAustin_ We are planning to leave tomorrow but are still not sure if we should go. As you said the information is not very accurate (and a lot of contradictions) any advise ?

With the family in #Corfu - staying on the north of the island, about 25km from the fires. Have to say that at the moment, nothing majorly affected where we are in Sidari. But *very* hard to get accurate information about the fires here.

Summary though: where we are in Corfu seems largely unaffected *for now*. Could, of course, all change.

Media reports rolling the Rhodes fires into the same bulletin (600 miles apart) hasn’t helped getting any clarity. “Greece is on fire” is an easy news headline but v different situations in Corfu to Rhodes
