@ArsenalN10 Don’t forget Edu’s contribution in this period. It took a long time to offload those senior players on big wages. Whatever people think of Edu by the end. He played a key role in reshaping the squad in the first half of Arteta’s reign.

@ArsenalN10 That’s when a clique of players downed tools on him and tried to get him sacked. He had to win that battle and offload those players. Imagine where we would be now if Mikel had left and those players had stuck around.

@Gazwthegooner Indeed. It was scandalous the way the media were putting pressure on Oliver Glasner to not rest players, on the final day. Over a week before the game. Not one of them dared put the same question to Unai Emery.

Thinking about it now I’m not sure I could have faced the next 3 days if we hadn’t won it yet. Sunday would have been fucking awful for sure. As it is it’s going to be one of the best-& completely stress free-days of our lives. Bank holiday weekend with great weather too! 👍👍👍

@ArsenalNews_Hub I was putting up my Christmas tree when that went in. At that moment the whole thing came crashing down. Decorations and lights everywhere. Took me the rest of the weekend to put it, and myself back together. 😀

@Philopearl_Afc Xhaka. He would’ve been so useful this season. Also would’ve lifted a massive amount of work load off Rice. I feel like we’ve overloaded Rice so much, that we haven’t seen his real quality often enough. He’s had to sacrifice his own game, to drag the team through a lot of matches

You cannot buy this. There is no amount of money that can be pumped into a football club to make this happen. The biggest club in London. The Arsenal back on top, back where we belong.
